WHO AM I?
Brian Cheung is a Director of Photography / Cinematographer based in Vancouver with over a decade of experience in commercials, corporate work, and documentaries. Recently, he served as the Director of Photography on the independent feature film “Jonah” (2024), streaming now on Apple TV after screening at the 2023 Austin Film Festival. Brian has also worked as an additional camera operator on Season 5 of “The Good Doctor.” Additionally, he is a fully licensed Transport Canada Certified Advanced Drone Pilot, available for travel anywhere in Canada at short notice.
MY STORY
“Ever since I was a child, I have been captivated by creating images through a camera’s viewfinder and filmmaking. This passion led me to expand my collection of cameras and images over time. I have constantly gathered my friends together to collaborate on film projects. I’m just passionate about creating meaningful work, and I’ve been fortunate to have some of it recognized at film festivals and commercial work seen by millions of people online.
I feel incredibly fortunate to collaborate with talented creatives for remarkable brands and agencies. Each new project is an exciting opportunity to join forces with my friends and create meaningful and impactful work. As a filmmaker, my goal is to collaborate with others to bring important stories to the world that are truly worth telling.”
